Title: Virtual Directory Support with PHP
Post by: planthie on January 14, 2005, 06:36:24 PM
I am trying to find the setting to enable the "Virtual Directory Support" when I run the phpinfo.php script.

The portion under Apache returns Virtual Server  Yes.

I have yet to find the source to resolve this issue.  I am running under Red Hat FC3.

Do I need to recompile/reinstall php?

What are the options required to do this?

Title: Virtual Hosting & PHP Settings

The search returns all of the sites that still have the phpinfo file located on their servers, exposing some of their settings & security risks.

On the devside install under Windows, php returns this entry as enabled.  But, on the RedHat install (FC3), it returns disabled.

Does this setting affect the capability of php executing scripts on a Virtual Host server?

I have no idea what this does or how it is set.

The only thing I got from a minor search is, try setting the doc_root under php.ini
