/ help needed, php mail problem
on: March 07, 2004, 08:15:43 PM
my mail function does not work, and I don't know what I did wrong, can somebody help me out?

Code:
http://peoples.dyndns.org/phpinfo.php

don't think there's anything wrong with this

mailtest.php should send a mail and return a string when the mail is sent, but doesn't work

mailtest.php contains
Code:
<html><head><title>PHP Mail Tester</title></head>
<body>
<?php

if &#40;$address==""&#41; &#123;

echo "<form action=\"mailtest.php\" method=get><p>Address to email&#58; <input type=text name=address></p>";
  echo
"<p><input type=submit value=\"Send email\"></p>";

&
#125; else &#123;

$subject "Testing mail&#40;&#41; function";

$message "This is a test email";

mail&#40;$address,$subject,$message,"From&#58; \"Mail Test\" <$address>"&#41;;

echo "<p>Mail sent. Were any errors shown? If there were, mail is probably not set up correctly.</p>";

&
#125;

?>

</body>

Just set up my first Apache webserver thanks to a great guide.  :D
The only small thing I'm a bit sorry about is that my .htm-files don't work. Tried to rename it to .html and worked fine.
Is there some way to "enable" the .htm-extension somewere?

Thanks for the great webserver-pack and great guide.

Greets, peoples.
