Can someone help? I followed all that was said above. I got the .dll and changed httpd.config accordingly. The server builds and then when I attempt to access a .php file, I got this message in the browser: connection with the server was reset. I don't know what else to do or try...

I am on a Windows machine. Is that a problem?

Here's my httpd.config
Code:
LoadFile "C:/Program Files/PHP/php5ts.dll"
LoadModule php5_module "C:/Program Files/PHP/php5apache2_2.dll"

<IfModule php5_module>

# Directive 'PHPIniDir' specifies the location of php.ini
# Under the DeveloperSide.NET Web-Server Suite -- this file is placed under your %systemroot% directory
# %systemroot% is 'C:\Windows' under WinXP and 'C:\Winnt' under Win2000
# If you change the location of php.ini, specify the path (ex: "C:/www/php5") under this directive...

PHPIniDir "C:/Program Files/PHP"
# PHPIniDir "C:/Winnt"

<Location />
# Directive 'AddType' associates a content-type with a file extension -- identifies data stream to the client-side (browser)
# Directive 'AddHandler' maps a handler to a file extension -- server-side processing of data (Apache)
# PHP Docs use 'AddType' to map a content-type of 'application/x-httpd-php' to a file type of .php
# While this does work, it still remains incorrect.
# The AddHandler directive was introduced to Apache v1.1 in 1996. Lets start using it.

AddType text/html .php .phps
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
</Location>

</IfModule>

That's the only httpd.config change I made...

Thanks in advance!

Have you checked Apache error/log, it could have some info about your problem.

With the release of Suite v2.0, PHP 5.2 [which contains the proper apache 2.2 handler], and the end-of-life of PHP 4.4, I'm dropping the sticky mode on this topic.
