Downloaded and installed the SSL full build version. Followed instructions step by step. Added apache, mysql, perl, php and ssl statements to path. Placed MSVCR70.dll in WINNT, copied other ini's (my & php) to WINNT/system32. And rebooted.

Everything works fine. MySQL, PHP, Perl, CGI, http://localhost, everything except SSL. When I try to access https://localhost I get Cannot find server - page cannot be displayed.

I edited apache httpd.conf to read
Listen 80
Listen 443

ServerName localhost

Still nothing. I am sure it must be something right in front of me that I am overlooking.
Anyone with any suggestions would be most greatly appreciated!

Found it. I somehow was following instructions for the non-SSL version who's service install command for NT differs from the SSL version. SSL version now installed, new keys generated, all is looking and working good.
What a great package!
