i've just set up a webserver using the devside suite for my gaming clan, running on a colocated windows 2003 box.  now i'd also like to set up a mail server for two purposes.

first, id like to be able to send email via smtp, for instance from php, perl, and other CGI programs.

secondly, id like to set up aliases (but no actual accounts) for each member of the clan.  for instance, would be an alias to my personal gmail account.

does anyone know of a minimal, easy to administrate email server that would work for us?  the win2003 box came with software called mailenable, which we've only begun to look into, so i dont know that its appropriate (it might even overkill).
