Dont know if theres a module to make <? ?> or <?=?> work or not :S

heres my code I shortened it so its not long

conf.php

<?
$dbhost = 'localhost';
$dbuser = 'root';
$dbpass = 'password';
$dbname = 'site';
$version = '0.1 Beta';
?>

Code:
<?php require_once("conf.php"); ?>
Skin Version: <?=$version;?>

Use '<?php' instead of '<?'. Though if you must, you can set 'short_open_tag' to 'on' under php.ini.
