Hi,

I just installed the newest "DevSide" package but it does not start while I am in "Vista" could it be something to do with my Firewall I use "Panda Internet Security 2007"

When I goto "localhost" it shows nothing and it does not ask for permission to access the apache or php or mysql

any ideas?

Maybe. Try disabling the firewall to see if it is the cause. Also the contents of \www\Apache22\logs\error.log would be helpful.

The error log is fine, and to run WDController under Vista, you have to right click it and run as administrator.

Right click it anyways to see if it changes the installed status... Because according to the error log, Apache has been installed and started. Also take a look at your firewall, allow httpd.exe

If there are no entries under \www\Apache22\logs\access.log than Apache is not receiving anything any you need to configure your firewall s/w.
