Hey all ,
I need help choosing a new ISP for my 10 servers,

These 10 servers are
5 Game Servers // 4 Windows 1 Linux
2 SQL servers// 1 Win 1 Linux
2 Web Servers // Linux / TEMP WINDOWS
1 IRC Server/Teamspeak server // Windows

Their is a constant 2000 people connected to me per hour. How ever people are starting to complain about lag issues. is their a way I can make my Internet Faster and I Dont want to lose a server because if I loose a server , I have to allow more people into the other server.

Note * 500 People Per server

So yeah what internet should I go with?

Are the servers local to you, or are you with a hosting provider. If the latter, it's probably a server load issue rather than a lag issue. If the former, well, I'm not sure anything will work unless its a fiber connection.

What type of a connection do you have right now? Must be pretty good for 2000/users per hour game servers.

I'm not sure you have too many choices, just whoever has the cable/dsl or fiber running to your curb. I think some places with dsl allow you to get a number of 3rd-party providers, but not here where I am.

Check here if that is your case...

I didn't see the poll.

Cogent is a "bargin" network. It's cheap for bandwidth, but not fast.

I don't really know but. I'm going to have to check my logs for Game Hackers. It could be them but they would not get past my Hack detection system. hmm now that you mention it , it could be my AntiHack system. They complained a few days after I started using it.

I have to redo the code. but ill check later if its the Anti-Pest(hacker) system. or The internet. because this is outrages I need to have the good upload. And the game turns into SH*T without good Upload(Server Side). I'm going to post the Results later. And I'm currently using cable. do a tracert to my crap domain >_>(Not my fault trying to get the domain I Want)
