I have heard this argument so many times... but I have yet to gather enough *straight* talk, pros, cons and examples, to make a good case for one over the other. This is an informed, professional forum, and so I leave this question to you.

It depends on the situation. Personally, I would forget all about that, and ask what's easier / more productive for myself to use.
