I've been googling how to configure Windows Native Firewall and found nothing after twenty minutes. The installation instructions recommend configuring it with the following message

Note that Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) installs a native Firewall on the user's system. Configure it to pass Apache and MySQL; and to allow binding to ports 80 (http) and 3306 (mysql).

This has me running scared. I don't want to mess up another installation. This is already my third try. I know I did it the second time, but for some reason I can't find the info I first had.

I don't want to just disable the firewall. It needs to be configured. But how?

Control Panel > Windows FireWall, Tab Exceptions, Button Add Program, add Apache or Browse to C:\www\Apache22\bin\httpd.exe
