I would like to upgrade some of the components provided with the  Web.Developer Server Suite Community Edition and would like to know if there will be any issues.

I am looking to update:
MySQL to 5.0.51b
PHP to 5.2.6
Drupal to 6.2
phpMyAdmin to 2.11.17

There should not be any issues if you take into account any configuration files that component has and where. And make sure to stop the Services when doing this.

You might want to rename the original folder to folder-old, place the new version in its place, copy over any configuration files.

Note that:
1. I don't recall where Community edition kept the php.ini and my.ini files, if they are under C:\Windows or C:\www\mysql\, C:\www\php5\.
2. The mysql database is C:\www\mysql\data\
3. phpmyadmin has a config file under it's folder
