Hello there,

I have an issue with drupal, I setup Drupal site, modified the C:\www\Apache22\conf\extra\vhosts\localhost\suite-drupal.conf file to permit remote login

order allow,deny
#   allow from 127.0.0.1
   allow from all

but when I tried to login using admin user and password appears an error "Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page."

Someone can help me?

Thanks

Where did you place the Drupal folder?

The edit you made to allow, deny has nothing to do with user/password access. It simply allows people from outside your local system to see the site.

Do you know if it is Apache or Drupal asking you for a password? If it's Drupal (which is what it sounds like) you do not have the correct user name/password for the 1st Drupal account you have created. You can go into phpmyadmin and edit it, or...

It also sounds like you might have not updated the Drupal database, using the drupal/upgrade.php script.

You might need to:

1. Empty the MySQL Drupal database.

1. Delete the C:\www\webapps\drupal folder.

2. Place a fresh copy of drupal within.

3. Make that edit in settings.php, per the link.

4. Start again.
