i installed foxphp into localhost dir got the following error
[Thu Jul 09 17:43:59 2009] [alert] [client 127.0.0.1] X:/www/vhosts/localhost/.htaccess: ErrorDocument not allowed here
installed phpfox with modrewrite option off, and everything went fine because it doesnt rely on a .htaccess file only server settings config file. everything whent fine until i tryed to access the server from another computer. i got a cannot connect to local host page. i conttacted phpfox support they said it was the config file.
$_CONF['path'] = dirname(dirname(dirname(__FILE__))).'/';
$_CONF['domain'] = 'localhost';
$_CONF['host'] = $_CONF['domain'].'/';
$_CONF['http'] = 'http://';
$_CONF['https'] = 'http://';

$_CONF['rewrite_engine'] = false;
$_CONF['path_translated'] = false;
?>
now they told me to change domain to colubragens.org wich i did. i forwarded my domain to the server ip address (the index page) and i got a dismembered webpage with the layout code no graphics. i am unshore but i think their is a config problem serverside. here is the httpd.conf code

You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Looks like you might have edited more than just those two lines...

It should be:
Code:
<Directory "/www/vhosts/localhost">
    Options All
    AllowOverride All
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
</Directory>

Also comment out the loading of mod_security:
Code:
# mod_security
#Include conf/extra/mod_security2/mod_security2.conf

If that does not help, then it's something in your .htaccess file.

Look at the source of the html page in your browser, the css and other URLs are probably still pointing to localhost and not your domain name.

You'll have to go past the iframe and just go directly to the IP, you'll see the URLs are not quite right.

It's a problem with the configuration of your web app. It's not a server configuration problem.

Hey thanks,

I am so glad it wasnt a server problem. i am working with foxphp support. i just have one other question. they need to be able to access my server. could you recommend a good ftp program that has client capabilitys that would work best with the server suite.
