How can i start new services under windows xp proffessional?

Im at the bit where it asks me to:

Quote
***Prepare the Server***

Install Apache2 as a service

C:\www\apache2\bin> apache -k install
(this will start Apache2 automatically from now on, but not this first time)

Start Apache2

C:\www\apache2\bin> apache -k start

When in services i see no option to add new services.

help!

Thanks, Dave

C:\www\apache2\bin>

That is the command-line.

You open the command-line by going to Start>>Run>>entering "cmd">>hit return.

Then you go to the "\www\apache2\bin" DIRECTORY and enter the commands that you are pointing out.

cd C:
...enters DRIVE C, or substitute for the drive that you installed the package to

cd www\apache2\bin
...change to the specified directory

run those commands
