hi im new to the web server game i have set up apache from ur package and have got a small site going and i would like to password protect an area of it i have read the instructions on the apache web site and have tried but to no avail and was wondering if someone here could take me through the process setp by step

Also, a search for "AuthType" should bring up all relevant threads.

Either way, I have seen more than a few requests for this...  I'll look into this today and post a guide.
