There is a section at the very bottom of the instructions guide that deals with un-installations...

But for your case, where you would like to upgrade without any loss...

Shutdown and un-install the Apache2 and mySQL services
Rename C:\www to C:\www.old
Install the new www package
Copy over your C:\www.old\webroot files
Copy over your C:\www.old\mysql\data directory
Install and start the new Apache2 and MySQL services

Unless you have made major or specific changes to Apache's httpd.conf or to the my.ini or php.ini files, you should not have any problems.  You could always copy those file over to the new www...

The main point is to keep the www.old dir and only "copy" files, not "move" them, that way, if anything is wrong, you have your older package to fall back on.

Also, PHP 4.3.5 just came out, and our Web-Server Suite v.1.09b should be out in a day.
I also have the ssl-enabled version just about complete…

I'm about to release v.1.09b, I'm compressing it up and about to send it to the server....

Is anyone getting any application errors on exit (NET stop Apache2) of Apache ?

I did not see it under v.1.09 when I tested it out, but now under v.1.09b, which just includes PHP 4.3.5 instead of the older 4.3.4, I'm seeing the same type of bug that is present under the Apache 2.0 w/mod_ssl code base, since version 2.0.44.
