/userlocal/apache2/bin/apxs

Should be...
/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs

Aside from that, the instructions work for just about everyone.  Most mistakes are just simple user mistakes, or a mis-configured system.

On google, php "cannot find output from lex;", returns quite a bit.

Was this the only output?
If you also had...

Quote
checking lex output file root... ./configure: lex: command not found

...than "flex" is not on your system.

flex can be found here: http://freshmeat.net/projects/flex/?topic_id=45

Which is strange, because, I think, Apache requires flex to build.  Either way, download flex, or install it by way of whatever linux distro you are using.

Does the user, that you are logging in, have full access to the system?  Do the same with the root user login.

Guest,

Thanks for your explanation! But I did not know the flex was a package! I have looked in my cd instalation but I have not found it, than I thought it was a file or a program belong another package.
Now, its ok!

Thank you,
