Dear all,

I have install "appserv - 2.4.0' in my win2000 server, which application is include apache + mysql + phpmyadmin, and I think my installation and configuration procedure is correct....

But after I config the page of phpmyadmin (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/phpmyadmin), I make change the password of "root" to "111111" then I edit the file of config.inc.php as follow:

$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/phpmyadmin';
$cfg['blowfish_secret'] = '111111';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['host'] = '192.168.x.x'
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'cookie';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] ='root';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = '111111';

I'm sure that the config I change is correct, coz I have make the same think in WinXP and it's work fine....

After the change, I browse again with this page(http://xxx/phpmyadmin), it show me a "Blank" page!!

Can any expert give me hand to solve this problem? Thanks for your help!

This is a forum for the DeveloperSide.NET Web-Server Suite, and the DeveloperSide.NET Windows and Linux Instruction Guides...
http://www.devside.net

If you have a problem with "appserv", you should use their forums.  We do not support or answer questions regarding other compilations.

If I were you, I would uninstall "appserv", and either install our Web-Server Suite package, or follow our instruction guides to install Apache2, Perl5.8, PHP4, MySQL4, phpMyAdmin, mod_perl, mod_ssl, mod_deflate, etc... for Windows 2000/XP.

BTW, this is a "Linux" forum.  The "Windows" forum is right above.

But one think I can tell u that, it's not the problem of appserv, it's only the problem with the phpmyadmin, appserv is only a package that include apache, mysql and phpmyadmin installer.......

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion, and sorry for posting wrong message here!! :P

This makes no sense.  We do not know what user/password appserv created for phpmyadmin to access mysql.  We do not know how appserv has configured access for phpmyadmin from Apache's httpd.conf.  We do not know the directory structure or the webroot/docroot of this package. And so on, and on.

Again, this is a DeveloperSide.NET forum.  If you have a problem with "appserv", or anything related to "appserv", please use their resources, forums, etc...

Or just uninstall their package, and install ours.
