You may want to wait 'till after it's actually released and bugs worked out before considering it ;)

Besides, .NET 2.0 will be out soon and they'll have to allow flexibility for both frameworks for it to be a serious module.

I think the Apache folks will probably have a good tutorial out first for integration.  And as with most modules, the only difference in the tutorials would be just the compile location, from the default to c:\www\Apache2\modules\

The compile issue is really dependant on their resources of course.

I'm sure someone (if not someone on their own team) will port and compile on VS.NET .  Don't forget, it's quite big.  (On some projects it's as simple as tweaking the .sln file to fit your compiler.)

Framework 2 support will come very soon after the final release.
But even then it might be safe to hold off a bit.

Remember how there were patches on framework 1 for ASP.NET?
Before going public on your site, it's always safe to pick out the bugs first. Or you'll be sorry later ;)

Don't worry.  This one's worth the wait.

Since this thread seems to be at the top for "mod_aspdotnet" search on google; I'll add that you can download mod_aspdotnet 2.2.2004 [2.2.0.2004] (which is the latest version -- July 2006 source) for Apache 2.2 here...
http://www.devside.net/web/server/free/download

And soon for Apache 2.0, mod_aspdotnet version 2.0.2004 [2.0.0.2004].
