When seting up and going step by step i get to the part where i am to install the apache as a service and this is the error i am geting

Code:
C:\>\www\apache2\bin> apache -k install
'\www\apache2\bin' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.


Did i miss something.

I am loading this to Windows 2000 Adv Server.

That means change to the '\www\apache2\bin' directory, not type it in.

Open up the command line and type in....

cd \www\Apache2\bin
apache -k install

next error i need help with.

Code:
C:\www\Apache2\bin>apache -k install
Syntax error on line 85 of C:/www/Apache2/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load C:/www/Apache2/modules/mod_perl.so into server: The specified module
 could not be found.

You got to follow the directions!

That error means you either did not add C:\www\perl\bin to the System PATH or/and did not reboot your system after doing so.

Its all in the steps of readme1st.txt.  Including where and how to set the System PATH.
