If I enter http://localhost/phpmyadmin, I get this:
cannot load mysql extension;
please check PHP configuration

But if I enter this:  http://localhost/phpMyAdmin, then I get this:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /phpMyAdmin/ on this server.

Please notice the difference of capital letters in the phpmyadmin section, where I used capital "M" and capital "A".

My system
Apache 2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4, MySQL server 4.1, Windows XP SP2.

Apache running fine, php running fine, my sql running fine, but still can not log in, by using the http: specified above. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Edit php.ini and uncomment the proper mysql extension.

Edit httpd.conf and set up the proper access permissions for that dir/url.

Restart Apache or reboot system after making config changes to httpd.conf and/or php.ini

Please explain as I get the same error.

I added Allow from 127.0.0.1, but still not working

Do you have to restart server completely or just restart apache and mysql

In which section do you add this
