How do I make the apache, mysql, etc services start on demand?

Ideally with a shortcut to .bat file or something, I'm really low on resources and my laptop is not a server I just need all this to make some homework webpages, neither I want to have a server always running because of the security risks.

Great job on packing everithyng really well!! I was going nuts by just reading the instructions to set-up everything.

Any newby recomendations would be great

Thanks in advance

Go to Services, and change the Apache2 and MySQL service from "automatic" to "manual".

Then when you want to start things up, open up the command prompt and type

net start Apache2
net start MySQL
