For those that are interested in Image Magick use in scripts on a windows xp environ, it is a fairly easy process if you use the prepackaged installer from the image magick site.

The only thing I found I had to remember, was to restart apache from commandline, or reboot the server to get the PHP environment to pickup the variables (just trying to give back to the community, I think this is a very good resource for information and learning).

Sure makes image scaling with scripts work well.
